What you'll do

• Provide direct nursing care to adult telemetry patients
• continuously monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and identify arrhythmias or changes in condition
• assess patients and report significant clinical changes
• administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments according to orders and protocols
• monitor vital signs, cardiac status, oxygenation, and treatment response
• recognize cardiac deterioration and initiate or escalate interventions
• document care
• collaborate with the interdisciplinary team
• educate patients and families
• follow hospital, infection-control, and patient-safety standards
• respond to emergencies and changes in acuity.
