The Medical Billing Specialist, Infusion Services role is onsite in Miami, FL, with compensation of $17–$23 per hour. Gastromed’s infusion services support patients receiving infusion treatments and specialty medications. This role supports accurate and timely reimbursement by preparing and submitting infusion claims, following up on unpaid or denied claims, and resolving billing issues with payers and internal teams.

What you'll do

• Process daily medical claims using appropriate diagnosis, CPT, HCPCS, and infusion-related codes
• prepare claims for infusion services, biologic and specialty medications, including J-codes
• review claims for payer requirements and supporting documentation
• verify authorizations and referrals
• submit daily claim batches
• resolve rejections and denials
• follow up with insurers
• document account activity
• analyze denial trends
• and provide weekly productivity reports.

Why this role
