The Member of Technical Staff — Full Stack (Backend-Leaning) role is onsite in San Francisco, CA. Base salary is $180,000–$200,000 per year, plus 0.2%–0.7% equity, depending on experience. The early-stage startup builds continuous-improvement infrastructure for enterprise AI agents. The engineer builds backend systems and full-stack product features that help evaluate and improve AI agents and the knowledge they use. The role owns technical and product decisions across data models, integrations, execution pipelines, reliability, deployment, and customer-informed iteration.

What you'll do

• Build backend systems for the agent evaluation and continuous-improvement platform
• evolve data models for evaluation datasets, experiment runs, agent traces, knowledge versions, findings, and customer-defined quality criteria
• own enterprise integrations including authentication, OAuth, webhooks, syncs, backfills, rate limits, schema changes, retries, monitoring, and production support
• take features from design through deployment, monitoring, customer feedback, and iteration
• work with customers to diagnose failures and turn requirements into reusable product capabilities.
