This role supports the cosmetic reconditioning department at CarMax, the nation's largest used car retailer. This role exists to ensure that all vehicles meet high quality and appearance standards before they are sold to customers. The detailer performs inspections, paint touch-ups, wet sanding, and buffing to maintain the company's reputation for transparency and integrity in the used car market.

What you'll do

• Execute standardized cosmetic reconditioning processes
• perform paint touch-up, wet sanding, and buffing
• complete quality inspections
• identify defects
• support auction preparation
• assist with vehicle movement
• maintain a clean work area
• follow safety protocols.
