Associate Buyer (Hybrid)

What you'll do

• Build and manage relationships for assigned vendor lines
• negotiate product pricing and participate in new vendor and product contract terms
• create and maintain SKUs
• track virtual and drop-ship inventory
• expedite purchase orders and update estimated arrival times
• handle price-protection claims and sell-price changes
• review promotions and backorder reports
• evaluate nonproductive SKUs
• resolve packaging and receiving issues
• obtain return authorizations
• communicate with internal departments
• respond through the Call Tracker/Case Management system
• work with Product Marketing Managers and order evaluation products where applicable.
