What you'll do

• Fill written optical prescriptions
• identify patient needs and recommend lenses, coatings, and frames
• help patients select frames
• adjust eyewear for fit
• explain eyeglass and contact lens care
• manage optical inventory
• assist with insurance claims
• review physician prescriptions and orders
• communicate with physicians
• participate in site-level quality improvement.
