Job overview

The Advanced Nondestructive Examination (NDE) Technician Level II role is onsite in Denver, CO, with a stated pay range of $45–$65 per hour depending on experience. The work is normally split between a climate-controlled office environment (45%) and field environments (55%). Tulsa Inspection Resources provides inspection services and ongoing technician training and education. The technician performs nondestructive examinations for customer projects, prepares and calibrates equipment, documents and reviews inspection results, and communicates findings. The work supports pipeline integrity and customer inspection needs while following written procedures and safety policies.

What you'll do

  • Perform UT, MT, PAUT, HydroFORM, and PMI inspections as required by customers and written procedures
  • set up and calibrate NDE equipment
  • document inspections and review reports before submission to quality assurance
  • compare results with available in-line inspection data and report findings
  • organize test results
  • coordinate with construction crews, field personnel, and client representatives
  • follow safety policies.

Why this role

Requires Level II certification in UT, MT, UTSW, and Creaform and at least two years of pipeline integrity experience. PAUT, HydroFORM, and PMI experience is preferred, with training and qualification available for the right candidate. The role includes call-out availability Monday through Friday in the greater Denver area, projects up to 150 miles from Denver, and approximately 15% annual travel for training and advancement.
