What you'll do

• Set up and operate hemodialysis machines
• obtain and record vital signs and weights
• assess vascular access and monitor patient response during treatment
• document treatment parameters and report changes in patient condition to a registered nurse or supervisor
• collect and prepare laboratory specimens
• clean and disinfect equipment between treatments
• support infection-control practices and quality improvement activities.
