The stated annual salary is $130,000–$160,000. The role supports lactation care and education for patients, families, and healthcare professionals. The lead clinician helps breastfeeding and chest-feeding families meet their goals through evidence-based, culturally sensitive care. The role assesses and manages lactation needs, coordinates care, educates patients and staff, and contributes to monitoring and improving outcomes.

What you'll do

• Provide lactation assessment, management, education, and instruction
• conduct consultations, telephone triage, and prenatal education as appropriate
• provide post-delivery consultative care
• coordinate care for patients with complex needs
• assess lactation goals and evaluate responses to care
• develop patient teaching plans
• liaise with staff and physicians
• educate healthcare staff
• contribute to data tools and regulatory data collection
• assess newborn nutritional needs.
