The Direct Support Professional, Western Region role is onsite in Mechanic Falls, ME. Compensation is $18 per hour. Waypoint provides residential and in-home supports for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, along with other services for children and adults. The professional supports individuals’ independence, self-determination, community participation, and personal goals while maintaining a safe, respectful environment. The role includes personal and household support, documentation, transportation, and following individual service plans and applicable requirements.

What you'll do

• Support skill development, independence, and community participation
• build supportive relationships and plan activities aligned with individual interests and goals
• implement service and care plans
• document services and progress
• assist with personal care and household tasks as needed
• support transportation and appointments
• administer medications in compliance with CRMA requirements
• report incidents and maintain confidentiality and safety.
