Patient Dining Associate

The Patient Dining Associate role is onsite in Hialeah, FL, with rotating shifts and a Monday–Friday and weekend schedule. Pay is $15 per hour. The role supports the dietary team in serving patients at Palmetto General Hospital. What you'll do

• Deliver meals promptly and courteously
• assist patients with meal selection and dietary modifications
• serve meals at appropriate temperatures and according to patient needs
• provide mealtime assistance as needed
• communicate about preferences and dietary requirements
• observe and report changes in eating habits or physical condition
• follow prescribed diets and physician orders
• maintain sanitation of dining areas, carts, and equipment
• follow food safety protocols
• collaborate with nursing, dietitian, and kitchen staff
• maintain meal preference and delivery records.
