What you'll do
- Complete pre-anesthetic assessments and review charts
- prepare operating rooms and check equipment, supplies, medications, and gases
- administer and maintain patient-specific anesthesia
- monitor patients and recognize problems
- facilitate induction and emergence
- support recovery until transfer to care units
- complete intraoperative and postoperative reports
- provide resuscitative care when needed
- communicate with patients, families, providers, and staff
- maintain confidentiality and follow safety and compliance measures.
