Field Service Technician – Forklift & Heavy Equipment

The Field Service Technician – Forklift & Heavy Equipment is based with the Buffalo team and travels to customer locations; the listing location is West Seneca, NY. Compensation is $21–$35 per hour, based on experience and certifications, and a $3,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Fraza and Vitan Equipment provides equipment service to help customers keep their businesses moving. The technician diagnoses, repairs, and maintains material-handling and related equipment at customer sites. Accurate service records, safe repairs, and communication with customers and dispatch support equipment uptime and service operations.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs at customer locations
• service material-handling equipment including forklifts and tractor trailers
• coordinate with service and dispatch
• communicate repair information to customers
• maintain service records using mobile technology
• keep the company service truck stocked and organized
• follow safety procedures.
