Facility Engineer II

Job overview

The Facility Engineer II role is onsite in York, PA, supporting facility operations and capital improvement projects in a manufacturing environment. Compensation is $42–$47 per hour. The position supports facility projects for HEPCO’s client. The engineer manages low- to mid-level facility projects, coordinating subcontractors and project documentation to help ensure work is safe, on schedule, within budget, and meets quality standards. The role also supports facilities budgeting, safety and environmental objectives, and resolution of technical issues.

What you'll do

• Serve as project engineer for low- to mid-level facility projects
• develop project requirements and purchase requisitions
• coordinate construction and facility subcontractors
• review requested work, prepare work orders, inspect completed work, and approve payments
• oversee project phases
• review bids and project documentation
• track expenses and cost allocations
• complete projects within schedule and budget
• assist with the annual facilities budget
• conduct area audits and support risk reduction and sustainability
• and promote safety and quality.
