Veterinary Receptionist — Care Coordinator

The Veterinary Receptionist — Care Coordinator role is onsite in San Diego, CA, with a four-day, 10-hour schedule: Sunday 8:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m. and Monday–Wednesday 8:30 a.m.–7:30 p.m.; Thursday–Saturday are off. Pay is $19–$20 per hour. San Diego Bay Animal Hospital provides veterinary services for cats and dogs, including wellness, diagnostic, surgical, and urgent care. The care coordinator supports hospital operations and client service, helping manage appointments, communications, records, and front-desk workflows so pets and their owners can access care.

What you'll do

• Provide in-person and phone customer service
• manage lobby flow and appointments
• respond to concerns and distressed owners
• assist with basic medical emergencies
• support medication pickups and service inquiries
• enter practice-management data, billing, and accounts
• assist with retail sales, pet weighing, faxes, and records
• and reconcile the cash drawer and complete end-of-day duties.
