Associate Director, Assay and Process Development

The Associate Director, Assay and Process Development role is onsite in Minneapolis, MN, with an anticipated base salary of $120,000–$150,000 per year. Celcuity develops targeted therapies for solid tumor indications, and this role supports its high-complexity cellular and molecular testing laboratory. The role leads development of laboratory processes, procedures, and pre-clinical test products from conception through production. It advances assay quality and readiness for pre-clinical decision-making through process development, statistical studies, quality controls, and scale-up planning.

What you'll do

• Lead scientists and engineers in planning and building biochemistry and cell biology testing processes
• develop molecular assays and test quality criteria
• generate data quality reports
• create assay performance specifications and development plans
• conduct statistical analyses and design-of-experiment studies
• maintain process plans through validation
• develop scale-up plans
• support laboratory equipment maintenance and calibration, QA/QC, HIPAA compliance, and safe-work practices
• participate in translational medicine studies and staff reviews as needed.
