The role helps students make progress in the general education curriculum, build independence and self-advocacy, and prepare for college, career, and community participation.

What you'll do

• Plan, deliver, and evaluate specially designed instruction
• serve as case manager and develop compliant individualized IEPs
• coordinate IEP meetings and maintain records and timelines
• monitor progress toward goals and report to families
• collaborate with general education teachers on accommodations and inclusive instruction
• provide instructional direction and feedback to educational assistants
• develop transition plans and support college and career readiness
• participate in evaluation and eligibility teams.
