The Head of Real Estate Operations (Asset Management) role is onsite in Surfside, FL. The posting states compensation of $130,000–$160,000+ per year, depending on experience. The role oversees a Florida-wide commercial portfolio spanning industrial, retail, and select office and medical assets. This senior leader owns operational and financial execution across the portfolio, with responsibility for improving net operating income, occupancy, asset condition, and growth. The role aligns property teams, vendors, leasing activity, capital projects, and financial planning to support asset performance and expansion.

What you'll do

• Establish a centralized operating cadence and weekly executive operating report
• coordinate teams, vendors, and project timelines to reduce downtime and maintenance backlogs
• lead leasing strategies and broker accountability
• manage vacancies, renewals, expansions, retention, and lease negotiations
• identify rental growth and net operating income opportunities
• oversee property operations, tenant relationships, maintenance, compliance, capital projects, renovations, and improvements
• deliver capital and operating plans
• manage budgets, forecasts, financial reviews, rent collections, receivables, and expense recoveries
• close audit, health, safety, environment, and permit findings
• build an operations team, playbooks, and automated workflows.
