The Mechanical Maintenance Technician – 3rd Shift is an onsite, full-time role in East Troy, WI, scheduled 11 PM–7 AM. Compensation is not specified. The technician supports Plymouth Tube Company’s Maintenance Department by keeping equipment dependable and available to meet customer expectations. The role works to improve equipment performance by reducing downtime, increasing time between failures, and shortening repair time. It contributes through preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshooting, corrective action, equipment installation, and hazardous-waste handling and inspections.

What you'll do

• Participate in maintenance-team efforts to increase facility runtime
• execute preventive, proactive, and predictive maintenance
• troubleshoot breakdowns and take corrective action
• execute work orders and perform root-cause analysis
• install and improve equipment
• manage and inspect site-generated hazardous-waste staging areas
• assist with waste transfers and direct storage
• complete annual RCRA and DOT training as needed
• conduct Satellite Accumulation Area inspections
• may load and unload site-generated hazardous waste for shipping.
