Apartment Maintenance Technician

Apartment Maintenance Technician is an onsite role in Abilene, KS, paying $15–$18 per hour. Megan Properties Management’s maintenance team works with the Property Manager to keep the property in good physical condition and support efficient property operations. The technician completes service requests, routine repairs, inspections, and unit preparation while documenting work and identifying issues. The role helps maintain safe, functional apartments and common areas for residents and supports timely move-ins.

What you'll do

• Complete service requests and prioritize health and safety issues
• diagnose and perform routine maintenance and repairs
• document work
• report potential issues to the Property Manager
• maintain grounds
• inspect property and units
• check HVAC filters and fire-safety equipment
• order supplies within the site budget
• prepare vacant units for occupancy
• monitor contractors
• perform repairs involving electrical, plumbing, HVAC if licensed, carpentry, drywall, painting, and lighting.
