The Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) – North Shore role is onsite in Newburyport, MA, with pay of $23–$30 per hour. Cataldo Ambulance Service provides emergency and non-emergency medical response, treatment, and transport. The EMT supports patients before and during transport by assessing injuries and illnesses, providing basic life support, operating the ambulance safely, and documenting care. The work helps deliver timely pre-hospital medical services in accordance with clinical policies and statewide protocols.

What you'll do

• Assess patients and provide basic life support on scene and during transport in accordance with statewide protocols
• provide courteous, professional patient care
• operate the ambulance safely and lawfully
• complete shift vehicle and equipment checks and maintain cleanliness and stock
• document patient care and submit required paperwork and PCR documentation
• communicate with patients, EMS agencies, physicians, hospital personnel, emergency providers, fire departments, and the public
• attend required training and maintain required certifications.
