Control Technician 2

Job overview

The Control Technician 2 role is onsite in Washington, DC; pay is $28–$34 per hour. M.C. Dean designs, builds, operates, and maintains technology and infrastructure solutions for mission-critical facilities and secure environments. The technician fabricates, installs, commissions, tests, and troubleshoots control panels and field instrumentation. Accurate assembly, calibration, documentation, and quality work support the company’s building automation and controls projects.

What you'll do

• Read work orders, diagrams, and wire lists
• assemble control panels
• perform sheet-metal work, wiring, painting, and welding
• install and commission panels and field instruments
• troubleshoot and calibrate instruments and equipment
• test and document circuits
• update drawings
• maintain tools and equipment
• provide on-the-job training to new employees.

Why this role
