The Software Engineer — Machine Learning and Audio role is onsite in Kirkland, WA. Compensation is $90–$91 per hour. The engineer will work with research scientists on a cutting-edge research project involving model maintenance and optimization. The role exists to improve machine-learning model training and efficiency and to support high-priority pipeline work. The engineer contributes to audio-related projects, including speech-to-text and text-to-speech, while organizing and refining models and code.

What you'll do

• Refactor and maintain machine-learning models
• optimize models for training, evaluation, and other criteria
• work on audio-related projects including speech-to-text and text-to-speech
• collaborate with research scientists to reduce training time and improve model efficiency
• streamline training and models with the team
• contribute to current pipeline and high-priority projects
• organize machine-learning code.
