Superintendent — Bridges and Structures

Job overview

What you'll do

• Direct and coordinate assigned construction projects and field crews
• supervise field forces, tradespeople, foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers
• schedule crews and equipment
• communicate job status with project managers
• conduct safety meetings and inspections when a full-time onsite safety officer is absent
• investigate and report incidents and near misses
• inspect work for conformance to specifications and quality standards
• complete project paperwork
• review production and cost reports
• maintain a project punch list
• train and mentor personnel.

Why this role
