The Ultrasound Technologist role is onsite in Manhattan, NY, for a nine-week assignment. The posting states pay of $55–$62 per hour. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Saturday until 4 p.m. The technologist supports ultrasound examinations and radiologists. The role prepares patients, operates and maintains ultrasound equipment, captures images in PACS, and coordinates related examination logistics to support safe and effective patient care.

What you'll do

• Prepare and examine patients according to departmental procedures
• operate, clean, and make minor adjustments to ultrasound equipment
• follow safety precautions
• maintain examination supplies
• assist with orienting and mentoring new technologists
• capture images in PACS and transfer them to physicians’ workstations
• answer calls and assist with scheduling
• coordinate patient transportation when required.
