The Line Cook works onsite in Athens, GA. Pay is $18–$20 per hour. The role supports the Athens Cooks kitchen by preparing ingredients, cooking orders, and keeping a station ready for service. The cook prepares and plates dishes consistently, coordinates with kitchen and front-of-house staff, follows food-safety procedures, monitors prep levels, and helps maintain a clean kitchen. The posting requires availability to work most evenings Wednesday through Saturday.

What you'll do

• Prepare ingredients and set up the station
• cook and plate dishes according to recipes and portion guidelines
• coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house staff to send orders out correctly and on time
• follow food-safety procedures for storage, labeling, temperature control, and allergens
• monitor prep levels and flag shortages
• clean while working and assist with dishes, cleanup, and closing duties.
