Direct Support Professional

The Direct Support Professional role is onsite in Pocatello, ID, and pays $13–$15 per hour. Rockwell Care Services provides residential and community-based services for people with developmental disabilities in Southeast Idaho. The role supports individuals’ daily living, personal care, community participation, and skill development in line with individualized support plans. Its purpose is to promote independence and help people pursue their personal goals while maintaining a safe and respectful environment.

What you'll do

• Assist with activities of daily living and personal care
• provide companionship and emotional support
• prepare meals and perform light housekeeping
• provide medication reminders
• transport individuals to appointments, activities, and errands
• support recreational, educational, and community participation
• assist with independent living skills
• follow support plans
• complete documentation
• communicate with supervisors, coworkers, and family members as appropriate
• follow emergency procedures.
