Lead Teacher – Pre-K

Job overview

The Lead Teacher – Pre-K role is onsite at the school in Cypress, TX. Pay is $17–$19 per hour. The teacher supports young children’s learning and development through the school’s Wonder of Learning curriculum and a nurturing classroom environment. What you'll do

• Implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities using the Wonder of Learning curriculum
• maintain a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom
• communicate with families about children’s progress and daily activities
• supervise indoor and outdoor activities and follow health, safety, and licensing standards
• observe, assess, and document learning and development
• support assistant and resource teachers
• use positive guidance to support social-emotional growth and conflict resolution
• participate in professional development.

Why this role

High school diploma required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education and CDA preferred. One to two years of childcare or preschool experience is preferred, and state-required pre-service training must be completed. The posting states no nights and weekends.
