It helps teams establish and preserve system baselines, apply configuration-management policies and tools, and manage changes and audits so system configurations remain controlled and documented.

What you'll do

• Create and maintain development, test, production, and other configuration baselines
• use or recommend automated configuration-management tools
• develop or modify configuration-management plans, policies, and procedures
• implement configuration management from initial requirements and capabilities baselines through system end-of-life
• perform change control and configuration audits.
