Senior Dispatcher

What you'll do

• Oversee bus routing and scheduling
• dispatch buses and provide route and passenger information to drivers
• review route change requests and submit paperwork
• monitor route sign-in and sign-out times and adjust route hours
• promote safety messages
• assign drivers and monitors to routes
• ensure routes are dry-run before service
• compile route information for school districts when required
• open or close the location
• track attendance and dispatch operations
• document late buses, breakdowns, and accidents
• collect and file pre-trip inspection reports
• coordinate preventive maintenance and report vehicle issues
• answer telephone inquiries and follow up.
