What you'll do

• Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, CICS, and IMS
• analyze requirements and create technical solutions
• support production systems and resolve incidents
• analyze batch failures and performance issues
• perform root cause analysis
• optimize DB2 queries and batch jobs
• participate in modernization and integration with Java, Spring Boot, cloud, and APIs
• mentor developers
• conduct code reviews
• participate in Agile ceremonies
• maintain documentation and support procedures
• follow security, audit, and change management standards.
