Social Worker (Licensed Master Social Worker) — Inpatient Hospital is an onsite, 13-week role in New York, NY, with a Monday–Friday day schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 35 hours per week. Compensation is $2,140–$2,240 per week. The role provides social work services in an inpatient hospital setting. Collaboration with the care team and connection to community resources support coordinated patient care.

What you'll do

• Provide inpatient social work services to patients and families
• conduct psychosocial assessments
• assist with discharge planning and resource coordination
• participate in goals-of-care and end-of-life planning discussions
• support patients and families through complex medical situations
• collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other care team members
• provide referrals
• document assessments, interventions, and care planning
• support oncology patients and families as appropriate.
