Electrode Process Technician — Night Shift

The Electrode Process Technician works onsite in Fremont, CA, on a night schedule from 5:30 p.m. to 6 a.m., alternating three-day and four-day weeks. Pay is $26–$36 per hour. Amprius develops and manufactures high-performance lithium-ion cells, including cells using its silicon anode technology. The technician supports electrode manufacturing research and development by operating coating equipment, preparing and inspecting materials, assembling cells, and recording process data. Accurate execution and documentation help the team evaluate formulations and test battery cells.

What you'll do

• Operate electrode coating equipment to fabricate cathode and anode formulations
• collaborate with research and development engineers and scientists on experiments
• follow recipes and formulas
• communicate observations and project updates
• record process data in quality management software
• use tools and equipment to produce components and cells
• measure materials
• inspect electrodes for defects
• assemble battery cells for testing
• follow safety requirements in cleanrooms, dry rooms, and fume hoods.
