Procurement Supervisor

What you'll do

• Issue purchase orders and blanket purchase order releases
• obtain completion percentages for purchase orders over $270,000 for accounting forecasts
• prepare material takeoffs, bids, and bulk-material orders
• purchase engineered equipment and instrumentation
• route quotations for engineering approval
• communicate supplier issues
• define material and documentation requirements
• assist proposal and estimating work with material pricing and availability
• support engineering with material specifications
• verify drawings before construction issue
• recruit, train, and manage departmental staff
• maintain supplier registry and equipment rental or lease reporting
• support procurement and site operations.
