Assistant Teacher — Infant/Toddler, Farsi Fluent

The Assistant Teacher role is onsite in Gambrills, MD, supporting infant and toddler classrooms for children aged 6 weeks to 24 months. Compensation is not specified. What you'll do

• Lead and nurture an infant/toddler classroom
• communicate with multilingual families in Urdu, Arabic, Farsi, Tamil, and/or Hindi
• design and implement developmentally appropriate activities aligned with social, emotional, and intellectual milestones
• maintain a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom
• communicate with families and staff in English and target languages.

Why this role

Requires fluency in at least one listed language, a high school diploma or equivalent, 45 hours in Child Growth and Development, and a 45-hour Infant-Toddler Certificate for the specified age group. Requires one year of licensed childcare experience or 30 college credits.
