Property Manager — Commercial Portfolio

Job overview

The Property Manager role is hybrid in Bowie, MD, with an annual salary of $110,000–$140,000. The position supports St. John Properties’ commercial property portfolio and works with tenants, vendors, contractors, and internal teams to protect asset value. The role is accountable for day-to-day oversight and overall performance of assigned properties. Through tenant relations, financial management, building operations, and leasing support, the Property Manager maintains property condition and tenant satisfaction while supporting the portfolio’s financial and operational goals.

What you'll do

• Maintain tenant relationships and respond to concerns within stated timeframes
• conduct tenant and property visits and inspections
• prepare operating budgets and review expenditures and variances
• solicit and oversee service contracts
• review invoices and purchase orders
• support tenant billing and rent collection
• identify and oversee capital and operating projects
• document incidents and inspect vacant spaces
• coordinate move-out work and collaborate across property teams.

Why this role

Requires three to five years of commercial real estate property management experience and a bachelor’s degree. Must be available to respond to property emergencies 24 hours a day, seven days a week; accounting experience and MRI software experience are preferred.
