The Director of Finance role is onsite in Denver, CO, with a Monday–Friday, 9 a.m.–5 p.m. schedule. Compensation is $120,000–$170,000 per year. Urban Peak is a nonprofit serving youth experiencing homelessness or at imminent risk of homelessness. The director provides executive financial leadership and partners with the CEO, Finance Committee, and Board to support program success and long-term fiscal sustainability. The role oversees financial operations, budgeting, compliance, and risk management so organizational resources align with Urban Peak’s mission and priorities.

What you'll do

• Oversee financial transactions, reporting, monthly close, statements, variance analysis, assets, cash flow, payroll, reconciliations, and internal controls
• lead annual budgeting and financial planning
• prepare budgets and reports for leadership and funders
• oversee grant billing, reporting, audits, and compliance
• identify financial risks and opportunities
• manage insurance coverage
• supervise finance staff.
