The Resource Navigator role is onsite in Sarasota, FL. Compensation is not specified. Lightshare Behavioral Wellness & Recovery provides behavioral wellness and recovery services and emphasizes compassion, acceptance, respect, empowerment, and stewardship. The role supports clients’ access to services by handling inquiries, identifying needs, sharing program and community resource information, and connecting clients with appropriate staff. It also helps maintain timely appointment scheduling, accurate records, confidentiality, and coordinated daily operations.

What you'll do

• Answer incoming calls and route them to appropriate sites for existing clients
• identify clients’ reasons for calling or visiting
• provide information about operating hours, appointments, providers, and services
• reschedule appointments with the appropriate department or program
• share community resource information
• offer immediate verbal support to clients in crisis before connecting them with appropriate staff
• briefly assess prospective clients’ mental status and needs to guide program connections
• collect and document minimum information for prospective clients
• encourage engagement with offered services
• schedule appointments in person or by phone
• protect confidential information and maintain professional boundaries
• support cooperative interdepartmental workflow.
