School Behavior Technician

Job overview

The School Behavior Technician role is onsite in Long Beach, CA, in school settings; compensation is $20.87–$28 per hour. Cortica partners with local schools to provide applied behavior analysis therapy and neurodevelopmental care for children. The technician provides individualized behavior support and implements behavior intervention and skill-acquisition plans aligned with student and school goals. The role works with educators, caregivers, and Cortica’s clinical team to support student engagement, learning, communication, and self-regulation.

What you'll do

• Provide one-on-one and group behavior analytic services
• implement individualized behavior intervention plans and skill-acquisition programs
• collect progress and behavior data and complete documentation
• collaborate with school teams
• support communication, social skills, self-regulation, and self-care
• follow school safety and crisis protocols
• travel between assigned sites as needed.
