Family Advocate

Job overview

The Family Advocate role is onsite in Richmond, CA, with compensation of $26.38–$33.17 per hour. The position supports the Children and Family Services department, which provides early childhood and comprehensive family services to children and families.

What you'll do

• Assist with enrollment and intake
• assess family needs and strengths
• maintain records for a caseload of up to 60 families
• conduct family needs assessments and transition planning
• refer families to community services
• document contacts and follow up on individualized family partnership plans
• conduct home visits as needed
• support attendance monitoring, outreach, and family training.
