Master Certified Truck Service Technician (Level 5)

The Master Certified Truck Service Technician (Level 5) role is onsite in San Antonio, TX. Pay is $30.13–$60.26 per hour. The role supports HOLT Truck Centers’ shop operations through advanced diagnostics, repairs, quality assurance, and technician mentorship. The technician handles complex engine and equipment problems with minimal supervision, completes repairs to factory specifications, and verifies work through inspections and road tests. The role also helps improve shop performance by training and guiding less experienced technicians.

What you'll do

• Diagnose complex engine malfunctions and analyze failed components
• repair trucks, trailers, engines, and related equipment
• disassemble, inspect, identify parts, and reassemble to factory specifications
• inspect completed work and road-test vehicles
• use software and diagnostic tools
• complete service documentation
• follow HAZMAT and contamination-control rules
• maintain tools and equipment
• communicate progress
• train and mentor technicians
• complete assigned training and safety courses.
