The Cook – Glenwood Regional Medical Center role is onsite in West Monroe, LA. Pay is $14 per hour, and the schedule is Monday through Friday and every other weekend, 6:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m. Lemontree Healthcare Services prepares meals for patients and staff. The Cook prepares nutritious meals that follow recipes, dietary guidelines, and special requests. The role supports patient and staff meal service through food preparation, safe storage, sanitation, accurate records, and communication with the kitchen team.

What you'll do

• Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes and dietary requirements
• assist with plating and presentation
• store and label leftovers and prepared food
• inventory food items
• record food temperatures, production, waste, and usage
• maintain a clean kitchen and follow HACCP and sanitation requirements
• communicate food, equipment, customer, and staffing issues
• participate in team meetings and promote safety.
