What you'll do

• Operate and maintain CNC machines
• read blueprints, sketches, and specifications
• monitor machine operation and adjust controls
• perform drilling, grooving, cutting, turning, facing, knurling, and thread-chasing operations
• measure parts
• troubleshoot processes
• adjust or reprogram controls
• replace worn tools
• follow quality procedures
• maintain part traceability and a safe, organized work area.
