Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in West Kill, NY, with pay of $19–$24 per hour. The technician reports to the assigned Director of Plant Operations and supports BriteLife Recovery facilities, which provide substance-use and co-occurring-disorder treatment. The role performs and assists with building maintenance, repairs, and construction across basic trades. Maintaining safe, functional facilities supports the organization’s treatment environment for clients and their families.

What you'll do

• Perform or assist with general maintenance, repair, and construction tasks
• work on carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, locksmith, carpet, and mechanical tasks
• maintain or repair roofs, furniture, fences, cabinets, shelving, boards, and other structures
• refinish walls and woodwork
• install or repair carpet and other flooring
• perform custodial duties as required.
