What you'll do

• Measure and record vital signs, intake and output, calorie counts, and weights
• collect specimens and provide assigned treatments
• assist with examinations and patient transport
• clean and store equipment and maintain patient rooms
• restock supplies as directed
• assist with bathing, oral hygiene, hair care, and feeding
• answer patient lights, participate in hourly rounds, report changes in condition, and initiate basic life support when cardiopulmonary arrest is recognized
• follow infection-control practices.
