What you'll do

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate resident care
• supervise LPNs, medication aides, CNAs/STNAs, and other direct-care staff
• assign work based on resident needs and staff capabilities
• adjust assignments for staffing and safety
• arrange staffing replacements
• complete performance evaluations and provide input on hiring and discipline
• resolve staff concerns
• oversee unit operations when higher-level management is absent.
