What you'll do

• Clean, stock, and prepare the clinical environment
• perform phlebotomy and simple laboratory procedures
• prepare specimens for transport
• take vital signs and prepare patients for procedures
• assist with patient flow and provide clinical support
• answer phones, make appointments, collect copays and payments, assist with billing, and update electronic medical records.

Why this role

High school diploma or equivalent and BLS certification required; six months of healthcare experience and one year of medical terminology experience required. Medical assisting program and Medical Assistant or EMT certification preferred.
