Paramedic — Part-Time

What you'll do

• Provide and direct advanced life support
• assess emergencies and perform physical examinations
• recognize cardiac dysrhythmias and provide appropriate treatment
• administer emergency therapies, fluids, and medications
• manage first responders at emergency scenes
• document patient care and provide reports to receiving hospitals and administration
• communicate with hospital physicians and follow protocols
• transport patients
• operate emergency vehicles safely
• perform technical rescues
• clean and maintain equipment and vehicles
• maintain required certifications and continuing education.
