What you'll do
- Perform field tasks associated with hazardous-waste cleanup, site remediation, equipment decontamination, and hazardous-material handling
- assist with field sampling and meter calibration
- inspect drums for integrity and regulatory compliance
- load and unload hazardous and non-hazardous waste safely
- conduct waste-stream sampling and profiling as needed
- operate light and heavy equipment and hand tools
- use required personal protective equipment
- follow safety and regulatory procedures
- travel overnight up to 50%, with hotel and per diem provided for overnight travel
- attend two weeks of paid, company-funded out-of-state Academy training
- be available for emergency response and occasional evening and weekend project work, including the stated on-call rotation.
