The part-time Registered Behavior Technician / Behavior Technician role provides in-home services in Waretown, NJ. Compensation is $20–$30 per hour. Step Up Family Services provides individualized Applied Behavior Analysis services for children with autism and other developmental disabilities. Working under a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, the technician implements treatment plans, records client progress, and supports skill development and behavior-reduction strategies. The role contributes to clients’ communication, social, adaptive, and academic goals while maintaining safety and communicating with families and the clinical team.

What you'll do

• Deliver one-to-one ABA therapy under BCBA direction
• collect and maintain client progress data
• implement skill-acquisition programs and behavior-reduction protocols
• support skill generalization
• use reinforcement and prompting according to treatment plans
• participate in training, supervision, and team meetings
• communicate with clients, families, and the clinical team
• maintain client health and safety.
